HISTORY
1992-2001 Dion served in the United States Marine Corps. After several surgeries and years of medical treatment, Dion was retired from the Marines in August 2001.
2001-2003 Dion began serving the community by joining Partnership with Industry as a Job Developer. Dion was tasked with partnering with the San Diego Regional Center and finding employment for men and women with Developmental Disabilities.
2003-2009 Dion wanting to fulfill a lifelong dream of beginning the first Native American in his family to receive a College Degree. Dion was accepted into the Kinesiology Program at California State Long Beach. After Completing his internship hours at the Veterans Affairs Long Beach, on January 2009, Dion received his Bachelor of Science and Master Certification in Kinesiotherapy.
Risen Video Production was Established in March 2009 as a side company.
2011-2012 After a long hire freeze in the Southern California Region for Kinesiotherapy, Dion return back to school to sharpen his Video Editing skills by attending an 18 month program studying as a TV/Film Editor. This training program allowed Dion to study under an ACE editor Drake Silliman. During that time Dion also completed a year of "Work Study" at the Los Angeles Veterans Affairs Medical Media Department, Dion sharpen his skills filming and editing projects on a tight deadline.
2013-2014 Dion was the finishing editor on two short films titled "Sovereign" and "Dentros." Dion also worked at smaller production companies creating Wedding videos, Company Ads or Training Videos.
2015-2016 Dion has created Emmy Nomination Reels for Voiceover Actor David Sobolov , Demo Reels for Scott Levy and his wife award winning Actress Leslie Kay. While working at Hulu as a Freelance Editor creating Promo Ads and "Next On" Ads
2016-2017 Dion, also had the honor of creating a Promo Reel for a WWII Feature film titled "No Better Place to Die." Director / Actor / Military Advisor “Dale Dye” raised Millions to begin working on his film.
In 2017-2018, Risen Video teamed up with Jonathan the Drone Guy to start filming Real Estate Home tours. He formed an amazing team that takes your event to the next level of storytelling. Together Risen Video and Jonathan the Drone guy work has been seen by Millions all over the world.
2019 had the honor to film Historical interviews for the Atomic Heritage Foundation of the men and women involved in the “Manhattan Project.”
2020 Even with Covid 19 hitting the world. Dion was still working on projects for various companies around Los Angeles. It also inspired Dion to create a 2nd Company within Risen Video to return back to his Medical Training. Dion partner with SpecialtyCare to provide Neuromonitoring Services for the VA across the US.
Dion starting partnering with other Companies around the US to help provide medical care to his fellow Veterans. After researching Fujifilm, in August of 2020 Dion became a parterning Reseller of Ultrasound equipment.
October 2020, Dion and SpecialtyCare won a 4 year Contract with the VA in San Diego. Creating a team that will ensure the best quality of care for our Nation’s Heroes and their families.
From October 2020 to October 2022 Risen was blessed with winning 15 Government Contracts for Intraoperative Neuromonitor and Cell Saver Services.
